Prince Aurri Serannar
It's still magic, even if you know how it's done.
Description: Tall and slender, Aurri is truly of royal blood. His aristocratic features shine through no matter his disposition. High cheekbones, silky dark blond hair and a jawline that could cut glass. Though he bares all the markings of royalty and wealth, Aurri holds himself with a much more reclusive disposition. He keeps to himself and often wears a scowl at social gatherings. But no one can deny this stately good looks.
Personality: Aurri is cold to most. Reclusive and unwilling to engage at first approach. Though he never gives off an air of fear, the way he recoils from mundane social interaction suggests he has better things to do. When he speaks it is pointed and sharp. On rare occasions when he can be bothered to engage socially, he is rather charming, having been taught well the ways a royal should behave. However, the thin veil of civility quickly drops away at even the slightest of insults. His temper is legendary in the palace. Though he truly finds himself in a place of comfort when delving in to deeply intellectual conversations.
Background: The Mortal Strife hit when Aurri was still very young. His mother, in particular, was quite worried about his health and safety when others began to fall ill and succumb to the tragedy of a mortal life. That would not happen to her youngest, and she made sure of it. He was kept away from any other young elves except his siblings, who were much older than him by comparison. But he made the best of it, delving deeply into learning about the Lifewell and its many uses.
While the world spun into chaos around him, Aurri was fixated on his studies. He was exposed very little to the Eradication War. Sure, he heard the panicked messengers bringing notes to his mother, or his sister Lead telling him everything would be alright. But, would it? His father died in the war and when the journey was made across the sea, his mother parished too. So, standing here on the shores of Aarandor, not yet an adult, Aurri was left to find his own place in the world. He has doubled down on his efforts to learn more about the connectivity between all life and the energy through which magic flows. Into his adulthood now, Aurri enjoys the banter of a tavern theologist or debating with other students at the Acadeum.
