Action by Sylindra for Army of Sand

(Public Action, OOC Date: Oct. 30, 2019, 10:59 p.m.)

The Warlord is leading and coordinating a massive action to provide support for her diplomatic mission to the Watchers of Sand. All Thalerith are encournaged to contribute in whatever ways they can. Things which would be of assistance include: Logistical planning and support for the envoys, researching the Watchers, talking to other Kinships for information, workshopping and rehearsing various approaches to negotiations, surveying the route to the meeting area, adopting unambiguously defensive postures for our troops, praying to the gods for blessings and insight, and whatever else one might think will be of help. If you believe your skills, your time, or your resources can aid our efforts in any way at all, then you are welcome to contribute.

While Kalagos is skilled in Celestial, his bread and butter is warfare. Therefore, he's setting forth to ensure that defensive positions are adequately secured and that they look like they are defensive and not appearing to be aggressive in nature.

With initiatives into research, defenses and advance reconnaissance already well in hand by others, Joran attempts to contribute to the cause as a Flame Seer: between extended vigils into the sacred fires of the Chantry to possibly obtain further insights, he offers to serve as a point of coordination between other branches of the effort, the kinship at large, and the Warlord.

Sorgath remains available for spiritual consultations during this time for those who need it.

Ragna Will put his skills as a scout to good use and survey a safe route to the meeting area for everyone involved to get there. Hopefully, his survival skills will plan out a safe route.

Nassar sets to work scouting routes and ensuring there is nothing that will take the groups by surprise. That means a few defensive posts here and there, and generally taking care of the nuts of bolts of moving people.

Claria is going to attend this mission with Sylindra's invitation and do her best to be a helpful diplomat. She will follow any orders from Sylindra.

With a call for support Ellyn has offered what assistance she can. She respects the actions being taken for a diplomatic all with the watchers though she knows all too well what can happen should something go wrong. She assists for the remaining resources needed to ensure that the Thalerith can protect their own, through supplies of armor and weapons and other various items to shore up where they will take up their defense. She will also offer any knowledge of archery and her own bow if needed.

It has been several months since a group of explorers, led by Elder Zenandra Aynarr, discovered the location of the Watchers of the Sand Realm. In that time, the Thalerith people have gathered together and prepared to face them either by the cunning of diplomacy or the strength of war. Whatever the choice, everyone in Nasherat is on edge with the looming presence in the nearby desert.

Warlord Sylindra makes her decision known rather quickly. The Watchers are strong, ancient beings, worthy of an alliance with the Thalerith. And with that mentality, she reaches out into the vastness of her social network, and with all the command and talent in leadership she has and seeks the help of her people and allies in preparing a diplomatic envoy to be sent out to speak with the Watchers of the Sand Realm.

The son of the Warlord, Joran Filinnar, a Flame Seer of the Thalerith people, has made it known that he is here to talk to any and all who seek the guidance of the flame. He spends days in the Flame Chantry speaking with those who are preparing to head out on the diplomatic envoy, and those who will stand guard near by. His words bring comfort to those still questioning the decision to seek diplomacy, and courage to those who may be fearful of the potential outcomes. All in all his efforts to be among the people and to help them have a positive impact on their outlook going into this.

In that same vein, High Priest Sorgath of Rithor's Priesthood offers his time and prayers to those in the city of Nasherat. He reminds them to be fearless in the face of this strong and ancient advisaray. Many of those who go to see Sorgath come back from his counseling with a heightened sense of cultural awareness. Speaking of the strength of the Thalerith in bold and unshakable terms. It is over all very inspiring to hear Sorgath speak.

An unexpected voice emerges from the south to help the Thalerith in their diplomatic approach in dealing with the Sand Watchers. High Lord Ellyn Reid takes it upon herself to not only offer aide through military resources, but more importantly, to provide detailed and thorough accounts of her people's fight against the Watchers of Ice and the conversations that followed the War of Ice. Her conversations with Sylindra and the diplomats chosen to accompany the Warlord do a considerable amount of good. The bonds between Thalerith and Faenor grow stronger with this selfless act of support from Ellyn.

As the days draw near and the envoy prepares to head out to meet the Watcher General, a pair of scouts is sent ahead to ensure the route the envoy takes is the safest and most secure. Ragna Aynarr has no trouble at all weaving his way through the desert rock formations, gauging the weather patterns and identifying the best approach. Nassar Filinnar does the same, though he takes a more round-about route to gather information about the forces of the Watcher of Sand and their elemental army. He reports back to Sylindra with their positions and numbers and generally gives her a good sense of what she is about to walk in to.

The Blade Sworn of Warlord Sylindra are at her side as she prepares to head out with the envoy. Diligently, Kalagos Sedriel takes command by coordinating with the General and his various lieutenants. He advises them on the positioning of the Thalerith Military forces and offers his expertise to help keep them close enough at hand to act should the need arise, but far enough at a distance to allow the envoy to act in goodwill and keep any thoughts of an invasion at bay. His locations are expertly chosen, and soon, they begin their march to the Scorching Expanse.

((This action was exceptionally successful and will be giving the diplomatic envoy a great bump in persuasion power as they head in to negotiations.))

Action by Ellyn

(Public Action, OOC Date: Sept. 29, 2019, 7:46 a.m.)

Ellyn will be gathering both resources and support in order to repair the structural damage within the Feanor's home city of Khelgar that had resulted from their conflict with the Army of Ice. She seeks builders and engineers within the kinship and any assistance that might be graciously provided any others who might wish to contribute. The remaining funds and resources needed for this endeavor will be added from the Conclave funds and her own at the end to ensure that everything is allocated properly.

Donates money and resources she and her Order of Knights can gather to help with this endeavor, also uses her natural leadership skills to lead hy example to help this project be sucessful.

In order to undo the damages done to Khlegar after the conflict wit the Army of Ice, House Morinen contributes additional silver and pulls some of its social weight to find architects, engineers and builders to repair Faenor's strongholdings. Emyrion petitions elves to join the cause not only for the pay, or for the pride in doing one's duty for their Kinship, but with a reminder that the Great Creator smiles upon strong protectors and builders. This is not simply a job, but a blessed endeavor by its very nature, made holy through the intent to shelter elvenkind and prevent further loss of life in the future.

On behalf of the Lorandi, Arminel has arranged for a sizable shipment of resources to be provided to their Kin in the Faenor. The Serannar has made preparations to send the Faenor all manner of building supplies, timber, stone, rope, tools, wagons, and of course, Lorandi grain to help support the rebuilding and restoration efforts. In addition, he will be offering the services of a small company of Lorandi architects and engineers, selected to both deliver the shipment of aid and assist in the rebuilding of the great city of ice.

Rawlin will contribute a number of economic resources to the project as well as use the pulpit to preach for others to contribute what they can to assist. Elves helping elves, kumbaya, that sort of thing.

Another Lorandi who likes to help the other kinships whenever she is able! Being from Palinnar, she is able to draft some sturdy workhorses to assist with the movement of materials. And in addition to the basics that are similar to what any other of her kinship might send, she adds some celebratory bottles of wine and cider so that when the rebuilding is complete there is something nice to clebrate with!

In support of the Lorandi efforts spearheaded by Arminel, Leofric is offering economic resources and prayer to help the rebuilding efforts.

Everyone morning and evening, Relios gazed up at the atrocity that had breached their icy walls. The damage and pain that wrought into the minds of all the citizens of Khelgar that gazed upon its blemish. His stomach churned and his heart ached when his icy blue hues set upon the Keep. It was more than the physical damages that occurred, it was the meaning behind the blood splatters and rubble. They had been breached and this eyesore was a constant reminder of the losses and fragile state of their kingship. It was deplorable. So he had to fix it. He pulled what resources he could muster from his own, and from that of the Aenorr house. Gathering materials of all that would be needed along with pulling any links he could to wrap around engineers and architects to include in the repairs. Silver to help the matter along. As well as his own self. Yes, even Lord Heir Relios would do dirty work in order to repair the Keep. Grit and ice he would move with his own hands. Along with his expert knowledge of the life well, he would use his skills in evocation to create the beautiful ice-work that Khelgar was known for. Nothing was to be spared.

In addition to supplying what economic assistance she can muster from her personal savings, Inweth's efforts are spent in study and calculation. She makes careful examination of the damage done to the walls, scribing notes of which areas seem to have been hit the hardest and which methods of attack proved the most devastating to the walls' design. She pays special attention to what areas proved to be blind spots during the battle, and pieces together ways to use the information to Khelgar's advantage.

Luthien has a great idea to help repair the wall! She's going to put money of her own towards it, but she thinks it would be super fun to have a WOLF PARADE! As one of the best wolf trainers in all of Faenor, Luthien works with others wolves regularly. She talks to friends, family members, neighbors, and gets the snow wolves going with some cheerful hats to march proudly through the streets while she leads them, holding a hat for elves who enjoy wolf parades to throw money in! She hopes that her Wolf Parade will help make sure there's plenty of funds for the repairing of the wall!

High Lord Ellyn Reid has been hard at work gathering together resources and delegating our tasks to see that the Keep in Khelgar is repaired after it had been badly damaged in the war against the Ice Watchers. She enlists the help of Lady Heir Talrin Kier who is very quick to drum up resources in the community. Her influence with the Argent Knights surely bodes well for her intentions in keeping the city safe. High Lord Emyrion Morinen has also been pulling his weight socially, contracting the best architects and engineers to do the job, all the while reaching deep into his pockets to donate to the cause from House Morinen's coffers.

Lord Heir Relios Aenorr takes this matter very seriously and joins the builders for some hands on evocation help. He works with them to help create and fortify the most elegant, yet structurally sound ice spires and buttresses. Inweth Aenorr helps him by giving guidance in the form of structural insight. Her choices seem almost blessed in their accuracy and improvement of the structure. It is surely better than it had started when they are finished with it.

Elder Luthien Reid ends up doing something to help that really only Luthien -could- do. A spectacle! A celebration! A parade of Wolves! The event draws in a crowd and with them a few silvers and other favors begin to turn up to help with the reconstruction of the city's castle walls.

Not all the help has come from within the city of Khelgar. The once very close alliance between the Faenor and Lorandi is in full effect despite their land disagreements at the present time. King Arminel Serannar himself has gathered resources and delegated a supply expedition carrying stone, ropes and other important building materials up to the Khelgar city limits. High Priest Rawlin Rylanth peaches about kindness and rebuilding our lives both figuratively and literally. And of course he practices watch he preaches, donating to the cause. Lady Ember Palinnar has done her best to gather up materials and send them along as well. Unfortunately her supplies are lost along the way and never make it. Lord Priest Leofric Tenlindil has also made an impact on the construction in Khelgar with his donations.

All in all the effort goes very well and in the end the castle is not only rebuild, but built stronger and more protected.

Action by Ellyn

(Public Action, OOC Date: Aug. 2, 2019, 4:57 p.m.)

The Faenor Conclave of Five has reached an accord to settle half the land between Khelgar and Thelos along the Volandis Mountain Range. It is done with the approval of High Priest Deoca on behalf of the High Council of Thelos and the Faenor. While the negotiations took some time to complete it was found amenable to both parties. Silver and resources are gathered up and construction begins on a Stone Keep (level 2 settlement) that will be known as "Winter's Gate". The Stone Keep is paid for by the Faenor kinship funds, to be held in the Faenor kinship name.

With the mountain range between Khelgar and Thelos fully mapped and traversed, there has been no shortage of discussion on who will claim the land. After a few months of negotiations between the Faenor Conclave and the Thelos High Council, the decision has been made to allow Faenor to build a settlement in the northern portion of the region in question.

Construction begins not long after the decision is made official. Beautiful white-grey stones are being hewn from the mountain side and brought to the location where a stone keep will be built. The Faenor have called the newly constructed settlement Winter's Gate and it will feature a rather extravagant Faenorian style gate at its entrance.

Action by Ellyn for The Doomsayer's Throne

(Public Action, OOC Date: April 2, 2019, 4:51 p.m.)

Ellyn will be holding a vigil for the allied races of human, hearthlings, and dwarves who died in battle and were left behind when the elves set sail for the new world. She has sought High Priest Deoca's permission for the vigil to be held within the graveyard of Thelos, in partnership with the Priesthood of Glanor. She seeks to gather the elven kind together in an endeavor to show compassion, humility and empathy of Baridon's grief over the loss of his other children. She will speak at the vigil about the importance of showing respect for all that have passed and to point out what is notably missing. There are no markers, no memorials, no tributes to those races left behind as if elven kind might erase the history and knowledge of the sins of their past. Knowledge that should not be forgotten no matter how pernicious. As a token she will also be making simple black arm bands of mourning to pass out for those who wish to wear them as a show of mourning and faith.

Lord Heir Rigoth Morinen will be helping in organizing the vigil, getting people to where they need to be, setting up candles or props or whatever is needed around the vigil site, and contributing silver to the needs of the vigil. He will also be on hand to take part in the vigil itself as well as give a few words if needed.

Boros and the Priesthood of Garwen will be on hand to help those Elves that attend to confess their transgression and the responsibility they have for the lost lives of their allies.

Alethia Reid, honoring the Lord of her house as well as her patron Brundir and the lost races of the old continent, will contribute to the Graveyard ritual by ranging out a little further around Khelgar, into the stark snowy peaks, and for a few days she will painstakingly collect little chips of diamond and precious stones, raw and uncut, from the deposits she has seen. These little raw gems will be intended for each elf that attends the Vigil, to at one point bring forward and assemble into the paired constellations, elusive and often absent in the real night sky, of the abandoned mortal races. At the end of the Vigil, elves will each take a different stone back with them, symbolizing a united undertaking.

In full support of Ellyn's proposal, High Priest Deoca will organize the Priesthood of Glanor to select an appropriate place in the Thelos Graveyard for the comission and dedication of a monument to our fallen allies. The site will be specially prepared and blessed, with Glanor's priests on hand for the vigil. In due time, artisan's submissions for a monument wil be compared until a final design can be selected, constructed, and installed with a special event when that time comes.

Thorin Aenorr will spread the word amongst elves he meets, making sure they saw High Lord Ellyn Reid's proclamation. He'd also contribute trade goods such as candles, cloth, or whatever else is needed in the organization of the event. At the vigil itself, he would mill about, talking with those gathered about their lost siblings-in-arms, telling stories, remembering the best of them.

Asa will offer to sing some songs about the other races, along with songs about remembering those that have passed. In addition to that, she has brought little sprigs of rosemary to hand out to those that attend the vigil. As a sign of remembrance.

The fate of the allied races is something that has hung heavy around Relios' neck for 5 decades now, and he thinks on them often. He will be attending Asa's vigil, and so for this one will be providing several written memories of his time serving along side the other races, bleeding with them on the battlefield. He will specifically call out their names, reminding everyone of who they were, so they are not forgotten.

Though Ember cannot be there in person, she is still very supportive of this idea and is wishing to show the spirit of cooperation between the Lorandi and Faenor. Thus, resources are donated to High Lord Ellyn and the Temple of Glanor to make sure they have everything they need in advance of the vigil.

Within the graveyard of Thelos, High Lord Ellyn Reid and High Priest Deoca set up a vigil and memorial to be help for the fallen allied races. Human, hearthling and dwarves. The ceremony speaks to the importance of showing respect to those who have returned to the wheel. She points out also that there are no markers or memorials of those left behind and that their memories should not be forgotten. Deoca unveils a monument that has been commissioned in the likeness of a Human a dwarf and a hearthling to reside as a marker within the graveyard of the fallen allies. It is very well received.

Priestess Asa performs a few sentimental songs about the races that were left behind. The tunes evoke wonderful memories for those were were perhaps close to the allies, remembering their strengths and the way they enriched the lives of the elves. The turne goes on to be very popular around Thelos for a few weeks. High Priest Boros sets up a quiet secluded location within the graveyard and encourages those who are feeling guild to come and confess their transgressions and discuss the responsibility they have for the lost lives of their allies. The line gets fairly long but the High Priest of Garwen diligently stays and listens to and councils every single one. Alethia does her part by traveling deep into the woods and caverns outside Khelgar to collect chips of diamonds and sapphires. At the vigil itself, she arranges the gemstones like constellations of the other races in remembrance. She offers up the gemstones as a mark of a united effort to seek forgiveness.

Lord Heir Rigoth does his part at the vigil to make sure things go as smoothly as possible. Unfortunately, his charm falls a little short and his words of support for Baridon fall flat. When word of Lord Heir Relios' war stories begin to make the rounds, the crowd seems less than intrigued by them. His details and exquisite memory are appreciated, but without the Lord Heir there himself to deliver the message, it is not very well received. Someone mentions that Lady Ember of the Lorandi Kinship sends along some resources silver to see that the vigil goes off without a hitch. Though those in attendance murmur back and forth that perhaps the Golden Elves have gotten a little cheap when it comes to supporting another Kinship's efforts.

Lord Thorin takes an approach that appeals to the Faenor's empathy. Which, for those who know the Faenor intimately, know how disastrous such an approach might be. As he speaks to them about considering now Baridon must feel about the other races, the best they can do is look at him strangely.

All in all, the Vigil was a success. The Faenor are praised for their efforts in appeasing Baridon and especially in acknowledging and beginning to right the wrongs that put them in this position to begin with.

Action by Asa(RIP) for The Doomsayer's Throne

(Public Action, OOC Date: April 1, 2019, 11:37 p.m.)

Asa with the support of the Priesthood of Gala is going to be offering a service to the people of Arandor. She is going to take seeds and starter plants and flowers from her own greenhouse and garden. And setup up a spot in the Court of Judgements, with a little area that people can come to, to write their oaths of dedicating themselves to giving up their immortality to Baridon. Taking these written messages and prayers, they can wrap them around their seed or plant and then plant them in soil within the rocks that are blocking the entrance to the shrine. Planting them in the crevices and also in provided planters and pots that she has set up around it.

Kenyon of course will write his own oath, and plant his own sproutling among the courtyard, but he will also be present as an Intiate of Baridon. Going amongst the people, and hearing their oaths should they wish to share them, but also proselytizing to those nearby, sharing what he knows of the Blood God, and the loyalty that Baridon will show those who have shown him loyalty in turn, and speaking of the ally Baridon will make in the struggles to come as they seek to discover the secrets of Thelos, and make this city their own. To earn it in truth, so that they may avoid the fate of those who were here before, and hopefully in doing so, entice others to join in making their pledges of support in the Blood God, and renewing their faith.

While no real planter himself, Eros is a decent people mover. As the lay persons come to join in on all this planting, Eros starts directioning them to do this or that. Fill soil pots, help that person carry that, rewrap that prayer for the gods's sakes, do you want to get smote? All that sort of personal organization.

Agis supports Asa and the priesthood of gala as they make their oaths of dedicating their immortality. They encourage followers of Brundir to go and plant their oath-seeds, reminding them that it is the will of Brundir. Otherwise, they help by going out to gather rare seeds, handing them out for others to plant.

Valeria will be doing everything she can to support Asa, once again without overshadowing. She'll offer prayer and forgiveness rituals for any that wish it, and gather cuttings and seedlings from Gala's glade.

She will also plant a single red rose in the cracked boulder, amid all those white tulips. She will personally make sure that yellpow daffodils and purple hyacinth get planted near the tulips, as well!

Zedmir arranges for his oath to be planted with an orchid, selecting a variety that has some of the smallest seeds of all known plants. Even the most simple actions can grow into something beautiful with the right care and attention.

Luthien is using her knowledge of agriculture to aid with this endeavour. Spending a lot of time ensuring the soil is in perfect conditions to help the seeds thrive to life and grow lushly.

Cordelia, a devout follower of Gala, will do all she is able to assist with this service. She will help with anything that is asked of her and will pray over the soil, seeds, and each and every oath that is offered. Cordelia is a firm believer that Gala is the method for which they can reach and appease Baridon.

Ellyn will take one of the sproutlings provided to wrap her own message and prayer to Baridon within to plant within one of the nooks and craigs of the rock that blocks his shrine. Considering the public venue she will also seek out those passing by who might approach or be curious but have doubts. A gentle word, quiet conversations, quick with her wits she will attempt to persuade them to Baridon's side. Every seed, every sprout, every prayer no matter how small can grow they become many.

High Priest Boros will be present along with other priests of Garwen. As confession falls under the Pure Lady's purview, Boros and his priests will help those writing notes to Baridon for the planting express their wrongdoing in breaking oaths, articulate their desire to perform pennance by giving up their immortality, and ask for the Blood God's forgiveness.

Iridessa will be encouraging members of the Temple of Torth to participate in the ceremony and she will lead them by writing her own oath. She would like to provide pots made by priests and parishioners of Torth's temple to be used for planting seeds for those that wish to.

Thorin will help his cousin transport all the plants and seedlings from her gardens to the Court of Judgements. He will reserve one sproutling for himself, wrapping his message about it and planting it amidst the broken stones across the entrance of Baridon's shrine. Not the sort to quietly do anything, and having struggled greatly with the decision himself, he will seek out elves with questions similar to his own and help them reach peace with the decision as he has.

Relios is going to be using his influence to encourage Faenor of all stripes to attend the event, even pledging Aenorr resources to help the event go off without a concern and to ensure Asa has all the materials she needs.

Lead by Priestess Asa of Gala, a group of elves come together for the Seeds of Promise event. She encourages everyone to write their oaths dedicating themselves to paying Baridon's price, wrap those oaths around a seed and then plant it. The Priesthood of Baridon looks at the gesture a little strangely at first, skeptical of the breaking apart of the natural order of their grounds by digging holes for plants. Eventually the gesture seems to be appreciated and with the support of so many showing up, they are allowed to continue their efforts.

Initiate of Baridon and Templar Kenyon Keir shows up to ensure all goes well. He takes time to listen to those who would share their oaths with him and encourage them to stay strong and remain loyal to the Blood God. Eros Marindur is quite sufficient at helping to organize all the people who show up to give their oaths. Under his leadership, everyone seems to be working together efficiently. Priest of Brundir, Agis Nerea, encourages those who worship at the shrine of his patron to come and join in the effort. And join they do! Worshipers of Brundir make up nearly half of those who attend.

The High Priestess of Gala, Valeria Laenorin stands by Asa every step of the way, supporting her efforts and acting as the prayerful guide. She plants roses into the cracked boulder, giving it a gentle push to allow it to open further in time. Lord Zedmir Nalduine arrived with an orchid and a rather lengthy oath to plant with it. A snippet of his oath is shared before the whole thing is planted. "Immortality is not our right, it is a privilege, and one that I pray we someday become worthy of. Today, my choice is my own. If immortality is the price set before us, then I, Lord Zedmir Nalduine of the Lorandi, am ready to pay it." His words are given praise by those passing by who hear them.

Luthien Reid is an incredible asset to this effort. He expert knowledge of agriculture and soil care ensures these plants will go on to take seed and thrive. It was reported not two days after the event the whole area seemed to be covered in flowers and beautiful growth.

High Lord Ellyn Reid sends along her flower and oath to be planted, reminding her attendants that ever seed, sprout and prayer, no matter how small, can grow to become many. High Priest Boros of Garwen's Priesthood arrives and sets up a secluded location for confessions, allowing those troubled by their guilty minds to release their thoughts and seek forgiveness from Baridon. High Priestess Iridessa encourages those from the Temple of Torth to come to the ceremony as well. She sets a good example for them by getting in to the dirt and planting seeds along with the rest. Under the encouragement of Lord Heir Relios Aenorr, many Faenor arrive to participate in the ceremony as well. It bodes well for houses Aenorr, Ingrith and Reid to be working so closely together in such a public setting.

Thorin Aenorr has been uncertain about his decision for quite some time now. His presence at the flower planting ceremony shows that he has indeed made his choice, but his words say otherwise. The struggle to commit to this in whole is very real for Thorin and the pain of that decision is evident on his expression at this event.

Cordelia Laenorin, a rather devout follower of Gala, does her best to help the event move along without a hitch. The only trouble is, she seems to be lacking in the proper focus to ensure that kind of worship is maintained. She becomes rather impatient with those who handle the plants incorrectly. It has been rumored that Cordelia has a rather eccentric way of worshiping, so most just shrug and assume she is doing her best despite the disastrous outcome of her actual efforts.
