Darinel Alcaldia is ready to settle right away on the new plot of land they have explored, with all the requisite silver and resources readily available.

Reverie is the latest Alcaldia addition, named after the dreamstones they discovered on the land. The wooden keep is built from the best logging materials Alcadia can find, standing tall and proud with high spires and turrets to oversee the land.

Kinlesse Darinel Alcaldia set out to build a settlement straight after the discovery of the land west of Cenote Aureo. Named for the majestic Dreamstones found at its location, Reverie is a jewel in the crown of House Alcaldia's achievements. Built just along the river, this wooden keep boasts four beautiful spires that rise high over he keep to oversee the land as far as possible.

Action by Eiliriel

(Public Action, OOC Date: Oct. 29, 2019, 5:59 p.m.)

Eiliriel has been asked to lead an expedition into new Alcaldia territory with the thought of establishing a settlement there. It is currently northwest of Bidal Falls and southeast of Beleg Miog. She will bring a team with her to help determine the most appropriate place to build. Plus, should anyone get hurt, she will be on hand as a trained healer.

Darinel makes sure to gather all of the supplies that will be necessary for exploration. She also makes certain everyone is clear on the directions of where it is they are meant to go. They are exploring one hex NW of Bidal Falls and SE of Beleg Miog. She provides a map with these exact details, so everyone is on the same page: ( She also announces her intention to join the expedition, unless the party becomes full of Alcaldia's that are dying to go who have not yet had a chance. She intends to act as their guide, as needed, around the territory they are exploring with her survival skills, and she'll act as an archer if there becomes need.

Alabrax also joins the House effort of exploration and settlement to assist his youngest daughter and family, aiding with whatever support in resources, presence, or prestidigitation he can provide.

Having finally emerged from her hermiting, Talise is ready to explore with this new land has to offer. And what better way to do so, then by helping her family. Talise is excited and eager to assist her family with exploring this area NW of Bidal Falls, and to help find an excellent spot for a new settlement to be built.

Phaedra's gonna join her sister and father in the expedition, making it a bit of a family trip! While she's a bit sad to be going inland, she still has considerable skills to lend to the mission. She'll do her best to explore all the hard-to-reach places, and help the Alcaldia find the best place for a new settlement.

House Alcaldia set out into the wilds west of Lorawin in search of a new spot to expand their holdings. The expedition was lead by Eiliriel Alcaldia, with her father Alabrax, sister Phaedra, cousins Darinel and Talise. With some excellent team work and quick thinking, they found themselves swimming inside a crystal blue cenote deep in the forest. The underground rived expanding from the cenote itself branched off in to a system of rather unstable and dangerous caves. But, the danger was worth the trouble. A solid vein of gold was also found in the uniique water source, giving House Alcaldia a great economic boost.

The family quickly decided that this was indeed the spot they want to build on. Not shortly after its discovery, a wooden keep began construction surrounding the pool of water itself. The settlement has been aptly named, Cenote Aureo.

After discussing matters at the recent Heads of House Meeting and talking with the Aeran Leadership at that meeting, it was decided that the expedition to find a piece of land for the Aeran Kinship was going to take a northeasterly route from Selene's Harbor, examining the islands that seem to be in that general area (please see the hex marked Aeran Kinship Exploration on the following map: Darinel has secured passage on ships from the Aeran Kinship to start travel in that direction, relying on their ability to captain the vessels required for the exploration. She has also made certain that everyone has the proper gear for a proper expedition party, in case they disembark the ship to explore the islands themselves. Ideally, they are looking for a piece of land for the Aeran Kinship to build another settlement to bring income into the kinship, and also a good place to build a fortification to help develop an early warning system should they discover ships or creatures at sea.

Per the agreement made with Alcaldia for this Aeran expedition none other than Chief Rythadrien Nerea himself has decided to go along! It has been some time since he has been able to escape out into an adventure and his entire purpose on this trip is to be an envoy for Aeran while also providing some additional martial power should need arise.

Forwen is coming along! She is there to make sure no one does anything dumb and dies AND to poke at the places people forget to poke at, to look under the rocks and in the caves and to climb the high trees and find the things that others don't remember to look for. No... those things aren't dumb and no one is going to die if she does!

Wynnimir will be assisting with Darinel's exploration of the Northeastern islands, happily going out to scout and explore to see what can be found and report back with detailed accounts.

Kinlector Odissin Reymar offers his own sailing expertise, and a few new ships from the recently built shipyards of Reymar's Reprieve.

Kinlessa Darinel Alcaldia gathered together a group of adventures from all over the Aeran kinship to help claim some land for the Kinship itself. In her eyes, making the kinship stronger makes them all stronger. Setting out in a northeasterly route. The launch from Selene Harbor and make their way to the north east!

Kinlector Odissin Reymar took point on captaining the ship. In the middle of summer, the seas were as favorable to them as anyone could have hoped for. Their alliance with the Watchers of the Water Realm ensured that any trouble they might find near here would be met with the ferocity of the Aerans and their allies. Luckily, the shop sailed around to the far east side of the unnamed island neat Selene Harbor without a hitch, thanks to Odissin's superior sailing skills.

Chief Rythadrien Nerea took point once they had made landfall, quickly putting Forwen and Wynnimir to the task of scouting ahead. The pair took up the task with ease and began searching past the shores of the island. They found evidence that someone else had been here long ago. An encampment of some tribalistic society long since moved on from this location. But what they left behind seemed as though they had intended to come back for it later and simply never did. The whole group gathered around and Chief Rythadrian lifted the lid on a few chests left in the encampment.

Silver? and lots of it! 50,000 silver when it was all said and done. Quite the cache. But who left it here? That mystery would have to remain unsolved for the time being.

The group searched over the entire island for signs of life, something more recent, something more substantial than an abandoned encampment. But they found nothing. Assured that this location was indeed uninhabited, they decided to claim it for the Aeran Kinship.

((Congrats! 50k silver has been added to the Aeran Kinship bank. I just need a +request with what you intend to call this island and we will get an emit out and an updated map location.))

It has taken months of careful saving, maneuvering, and politicking - making backroom deals to secure some last minute funding, but Darinel finally has enough resources and silver put together to create the much awaited, at least in House Alcaldia, stone keep for Bidal Falls, officially claiming the land. She makes sure the best carpenters, stonemasons, and artists are on hand to make the settlement as best as it can be. This hard work could not have been done with out the ingenuity of her sisters, Mihris and Elleth, in helping to explore the area, or the cooperation of the Aeran Kinship in working out a deal for the final funding needed. Rumor suggests that Kinlessa Darinel Alcaldia will be putting together an exploration team for the Aeran Kinship in the coming days, and is looking for one member form each family to participate, as part of the brokered deal for the final funds.

Action by Talien for Army of Water

(Public Action, OOC Date: July 29, 2019, 10 a.m.)

Should the diplomatic measures fail, a group of willing, able bodied combatants will be on hand to step in to aid the diplomatic escort in their efforts to defend all Aeran present from the seemingly impressive power of the Watcher so that all might escape unharmed to regroup and prepare Lorawin's defenses.

Kinlector Odissin Reymar, head of the House that stands as the military backbone of the Aeran, stands at the ready aboard his ship "The Reymar Reaver". The flagship of a choice few of Reymar's fleet, they stand none too far and none too close to where the diplomatic envoys conduct their business with the Watcher; to appear neither too forceful nor too far away. It's a "flex" in true Odissin fashion and he stands at the prow near the figurehead, watching with his weathered eye the proceedings of the diplomats and the Watcher. If things go sour, he'll drop the signal of Reymar's House Flag at the crow's nest switched for one of a deep crimson bleeding to black.

If things go well? There's plenty of rum to go along and he deeply hopes the Watcher has some good taste in that regard at least.

Octalin would provide all of his experience to assist with the defense. Working with the officers and the operation specialists to support the soldiers on the field.

Shakian will join the party to defend Aeran as a foot soldier. He will bring his sword and a preference for not using it except as a last resort.

It's not that she is overly handy at fighting or that she won't see something interesting and wander into places she shouldn't but Forwen goes along because that is what you do. You help, where you can, even if it is just as one more body in the wall of defense.

Noelani though not a fighter. Promises to join offering her magic and her talents as an inventor to aid those that go to war.

Darien will bring his ship, The Crimson Pearl and her crew to help oversee the efforts of the diplomatic delegation. Should it come to aggression, they will help fight, evacuate, act as distraction, put themselves between the enemy and the civil part of the fleet or anything else that might be required. If fighting does break out and a chance to strike at any enemy that appears to be an officer, general or the like should present itself, and it would not put any allies at risk doing so, they will most assuredly try for it. They will return with the rest of the fleet to regroup and prepare to defend Lorawin should it come to that.

Ravenir Marindur, serving as a ground support combatant, surveys the potential battlefield, where areas of advantage and disadvantage would be depending upon how things shake out. His disposition is one of calm while leaning against his spear through most of the diplomatic conversations, keeping a lazy look about him to the best of his ability.

Tykalos would speak from the heart, as is his way, so that the Watcher's understand where they stand. He would hope that he could convince the Watcher that they come in peace but just as importantly, make certain they understand that they are willing to give swords rather than flowers.

'"We came from across the seas. To you, we must seem strange and dangerous. Things that came fleeing from danger, and sure to bring it with us. Or, even worse, be the exact kind of danger that you have been compelled to watch for. I understand how we must seem that way. I understand that this is your home. We only ask that you understand that this is our home too. We took the risk to sail the seas with our Goddess's blessings. We lost so many on the way. We are not returning. We strive for peace, with you, with this land, and all the gods. By all the gods, though, know that we will fight to stay if we must.'

The day had finally come to set sail. Admiral Talien Reymar commanded one half of the fleet setting sail and Captain Elleth Alcaldia commanded the other. Talien's directive and purpose were clear. Sail to the South of the meeting spot, keep your distance. Watch and wait. They are to be the fallback plan. Should anything go wrong with the second half of the mission, they are lying in wait, ready to strike and maneuver. The Admiral brought with him some of the finest and fiercest sailors the Aeran Kinship has to offer.

Kinlector Odissin Reymar, captaining The Reymar Reaver, sailed in the southern fleet as well. Cold and merciless he stands waiting and watching on the top deck as the other half of the fleet sails into Watcher territory. His stern expression is tempered as he watches them head off to seek peace. And what cold hearted, pessimistic words come from his mouth, his crew knows better. For he also stockpiled a festival's worth of rum in the decks below, laying in wait for a celebration when the diplomats return victorious.

Darien Marindur sailed out with the fleet aboard his personal vessel, the Crimson Pearl. On board was his new cousin Ravenir Marindur. Their position with the contingency plan is to keep agile and look for tactical advantages should it come to a fight. Ravenir certainly has the naval intellect to call out a good idea when he sees one. And Darien flourished with the aggressive maneuvers at sea used to tack around the fleet and keep their eyes out like a shark in the water.

Aboard one of the other ships, Noelani Marindur lays in wait, practicing her evocation skills on the upper deck. She has honed and practiced and developed a rather deadly ship to ship combat evocation style that will certainly come in handy if the contingency plan needs to be enacted. Forwen Nerea sits up in the crow's nest of this particular ship, keeping her eyes focused on the second half of the fleet as they sail into danger. She ties back her rusted auburn hair and waits for the call in the distance, hoping that it will never come and all will be handled peacefully.

Action by Rawlin for Army of Rock

(Public Action, OOC Date: July 21, 2019, 4:28 p.m.)

The Lorandi have found the Rock Watcher and have begun to mobilize to defend Torendaar as well as attempt diplomatic actions in the hopes of resolving the crisis peacefully. Without knowing how it's going to end, High Priest Rawlin is seeking to gather support from the elves of other kinships in whatever form and fashion he is able to do. This can come in the form of working with the new Healer's Guild to provide a triage center in Thelos for wounded Lorandi who need less extensive healing as their wounds are not immediately life-threatening, to holding various prayer vigils with the different Gods to ask for blessings upon the Lorandi people.

In a time of need for the Lorandi, and recognizing that the kinships must work together, Lyandra Filinnar has heard their plea for assistance and offers what aid she can to the kinship. Of her own resources, she offers You give 75 economic resources and 220 social resources, gifted to High Priest Rawlin to be used in whatever way he sees fit to assist his people. She also offers what aid she can in the teaching of such magics as she knows, including evocation, prestidigitation, and abjuration. As well, she offers herself as a counselor on diplomatic tools and agendas. Though she lacks the ability to assist the Lorandi more directly, she hopes that what aid she can give will benefit them in this time of crisis.

Celenia Laenorin, one of the newest members of the Thelos Healers Guild, sets up a triage center as close as she can to the Lorandi portals. She spends out of her own pocket to do so, using economic resources to buy cots and bandages. Her restoration skills aren't the best, but they are pretty good, and she hopes her triage skills are up to snuff.

Helps by offering her natural ablities of teaching and training her Order of Knights and what she remember from facing the Ice Army and Feanor's warcher to help offer aide in preparing for the Army of Rock

Although Kinlessa Darinel Alcaldia is an outsider to the Lorandi people, she has a vested interest in seeing all of the Kinships succeed within Aarandor, for it was, in part, her family who helped to encourage everyone to come to Aarandor, and her sister, Elleth, who was responsible for finding all the ships which the Kin used to take the voyage across the sea. To that end, she gladly helps the Lorandi people where she can, directing the banks to allow them the use of 200 of every kind of resource: economic, social, and military, to be used as needed to see to the health and safety of their people. It is her hope that by extending this branch of aid that they can become better acquainted as a people, and that they have every bit of success with their Watcher situation as possible, for the Aeran will soon be in such a position themselves.

Rumors of rumbling to the west of Torendaar grow more and more real as time goes on. The Lorandi have encountered the Watchers of Rock and are forming up their defenses and diplomatic efforts. They have been communicative and open about the foe they face. And with the spirit of cross-kinship collaboration, High Priest Rawlin Rylanth has taken it upon himself to reach out to the other kinships and gather as much information and support from them as he can. His efforts have been nothing short of successful.

Lyandra Filinnar, Daughter of the Warlord, has come forward to help drum up resources for the Lorandi in hope that it will help them better prepare for their encounter. In doing so, she has successfully opened a door of diplomacy between the Desert Elves and their Golden counterparts in Torendaar. Lady Heir Talrin Keir has also offered her advice to the Lorandi. Though the Watchers of Ice seem very different from the Watchers of Rock, her advice is taken with appreciation and respect for the knowledge she gained in the fight the Faenor faced.

Kinlessa Darinel Alcaldia went above and beyond when reaching out to the Lorandi. As the Aeran Kinship presently faces a similar foe, she took the time to help trade information as well as donate supporting resources to the Lorandi's efforts. No doubt her political outreach has gone a long way in strengthening the bond between Aeran and Lorandi.

Sister Celenia Larnorin has dedicated the Thelos Healers Guild in aide to the Lorandi during their time of conflict. She has personally assured the Lorandi that a triage center will be set up at the portal that leads to Torendaar for them to ferry through wounded and dying soldiers, should their encounter come to blows. Thelos Healers Guild is ready to help!

And with such detailed preparations and information shared across kinship lines, no doubt the Lorandi have gained an advantage in the negotiations to come.

Action by Darinel

(Public Action, OOC Date: May 27, 2019, 6:26 p.m.)

Darinel gathers together the needed resources to put together a team of explorers to explore just south of Lorawin, to see what can be found around the potential mouth of the river, as well as the surrounding areas. Are there ruins? Are there people? Who knows?! But Darinel intends to see this through. To do this task she's hired some of the best explorers she can, as well as a few guards to help, as well as included members of her family who are interested in aiding this grand foray into the unknown wilds.

Darinel's intent is to figure out if this could be a place where House Alcaldia can establish a potential base of operations and/or create a settlement, and what might be needed to terms of creating such a settlement. Also, to see what resources might be available to them /if/ they do settle there. Are there mines? Is there good farmland? Is the area forested, where they could provide lumber for boats? These are all questions she wants to see answered. Also, if there are people there, it's good to know - and whether or not these people are friendly or hostile.

Mihris will be accompanying Darinel on the exploration South of Lorawin. She will be along mostly as protection for those who are more able in the act of exploration.

Erendir will be joining the group to go exploring south of Lorawin, to see what can be found. He will be going as both a explorer and if they are needing to move on water as a captian as he is a sailor and if needed he knows how to fight.

Elleth, eager as ever to explore, hastily offers her aide to Darinel in this adventure. She is eager to see what resources can be garnered from this untapped area - she mostly wants more lumber and supplies to further outfit her ships. She ensures the party moves at a proper pace, the guards are positioned correctly, and that everyone knows how to contribute and assist each other. While this is Darinel's mission, Elleth can't help but take up command to try and ensure that it is a success.
