All of us have in our veins the exact same percentage of salt in our blood that exists in the ocean, and, therefore, we have salt in our blood, in our sweat, in our tears. We are tied to the ocean. And when we go back to the sea - whether it is to sail or to watch it - we are going back from whence we came.
Description: Erendir stands 6'6" and cuts a swashbuckling image. Standing 6'6" or so, the man's black hair is swept out of his way, his green eyes watching with the world with the wary gaze of a man used to action springing up on the horizon. He moves with the grace of a man whose life is spent at sea, navigating waves and swells without losing his footing on the deck. His build is muscular without being bulky. His demeanor is pleasant and friendly, with an easy if guarded smile for the people he meets. While he might not be the loudest person in a room, one might get the impression he has a certain joy that effuses from him. From head to toe, Erendir is swathed in black. His black coat is suitable for keeping the rain and spray off him, and buckles tightly closed for inclement weather. Underneath is a lightweight black shirt. Black pants are tucked into some black leather boots.
Personality: Erendir is a man of many mysteries but it is no mystery that he has a soft spot for his family, especially his younger brother whom he is greatly protective of. He offers wisdom which can come as tough love but he is always adoring and is just as gentle as he is firm. Sometimes Erendir is quiet and observant but he can also be charming and flirtatious. He puts his own happiness aside for his family, making sure that they are taken care of first. For his brother Tykalos he is a fierce guard. Erendir is a fan of sailing, adventuring, hunting, drinking games, and being a brat to each and every member of his family.
Background: For the first many years of his life, Erendir was practically raised in the tidepools of Loramar, right where the ocean met the land. Much like his young brother did when he was a child but unlike his young brother while he was listening to his mother and aunt talk about Aereth and seeing the gifts her ocean provided them. Fish to eat, water to sail over and all of the other curiosities and wonders that came with it. He would daydream about being out on the water with the wind in his hair and the sea kissing his skin, as he got older his mother and aunt thought perhaps he would be the one to become a priest of Aereth but he was not one to dorn the robes no, since he was a child he had his mind set on one thing and that was to be on the sea and so as he grew older he moved from the tidepools to the docs to watch the ships come and go, to learn as much as he could about him and eventually have a boat of his own.
