Swimming with the Fishes!
Description: Big, splendid, emeraldine eyes often regard the world beyond with wonder and delight with a pale complexion all around them and pointed ears peeking out from her rich, auburn-red hair which freely drapes in flowing waves beyond her bony, square, wide shoulders and down to that lean waistline found between her full bust and broad hips. A drawing compass against an open scroll (the Sigil of House Neara) has been intricately tattooed under her right eye, down her cheek, and to her jaw.
Personality: This elven beauty often regards her husband, creatures, water, and vehicles with comedic fascination and ardent gratitude. She fluidly flows between her carefree nature and her charismatic composure, easily enough. She persistently cultivated a resourceful nature and tryhard attitude opften makes up for her shortcomings.
Background: It is a wonder at all how such a carefree, charismatic woman such as Faylen could have ever thrived within a turbulent world such as this: one full of wanton danger and random stressors. One advantage that she did have, though, was a supportive family who loved her, nutured her, and tried to shield her from the trials, tribulations, and troubles of the world as best they could. However, Faylen was not only too curious for her own good but also too stubborn to know when to quit.
She may have always been a bit out of place with the Aeran kin, but Faylen always kept a bright smile upon that angelic face of hers. Creatures from the ocean were drawn to her, too. Her parents were eager and ready to help foster this gift of hers, but life changes plans as it is wont to do. Faylen was brought forth into the New World during a time when there was confusion, pain, and suffering; yet, she somehow preserved her impossible positivity despite how her fellow Elves began to 'see life' whilst she and her kin settled in to Lorawin.
News of the Flooding in Duindar lands reached her ears, and she ended up meeting an impossibly cheerful Duindar Elf named Telimus shortly thereafter. The cheerful demeanor they both shared must have been what inspired them to become the best of friends. While he took to studying his magic to follow in the footsteps of his deceased father as well as his still-living grandfather; she spent her time with marine life: learning about them, befriending them, and loving them.
Even then, life changed plans. Enduring friendship soon blossomed into something more than companionship alone. Neither elf ever expected it, but they matured and fell in love after all those years together as best friends. Despite their newfound love, the ever-cheerful Faylen kept refusing the marriage proposals Telimus would make to her, doing so many times, until he finally overcame his former fear of water! After all, how can an Aeran Elf fear the seas? She aided him and helped to teach him the joys of the ocean. Only then, after defeating that fear as they set out to do, did they hold their wedding ceremony and unite together as One.
