Description: Rather short for an elf and notably slender of frame, Joward's strength is his mind, and this shows in his keen-eyed lavender gaze that brims with wit. The mark of a great many years lays upon him, and that age has diminished him much, physically speaking. He has a commanding presence and a sharp tongue that are storied for their ability to freeze a young elf's blood.

Personality: The energy and optimism of youth is, sadly, far behind Joward Nerea. As an elder of the people he has born witness to all the tragedy and hardship the elves have been tested against. Now he finds himself alive in this new land, a survivor who feels his best days are behind him. His wife did not survive the journey, nor his children, and he begins to think that what he needs now is a new purpose.

Background: In the old world, Joward was one of the economical movers and shakers that helped to make Loramar the flourishing metropolis it was. His deep understanding of the turnings of the wheels of commerce made him invaluable to House Nerea and the Aeran Kinship, and his efforts in fundraising were integral to the level of preparation the Aeran elves were able to achieve before the migration. The arrival of the Host and the hardships of the migration to Aarandor took his family from him one by one, his children falling first in battle against the Host and his wife succumbing along the journey to the new world. He seeks now to begin anew, albeit with no small amount of cynicism and skepticism.

Name Summary
Rythadrien This old elf has known much loss and hardship, but he carries on. There is great strength in that, and I admire it. He is a wise elf, wise in ways that are sorely needed here to build a flourishing new home. I hope to learn much from him.
