Scholar Arahiel Naevon
Play the victim and you will be the victim.
Description: The male elf is lithe, standing at six and half feet tall. There is strength in his lean musculature that is built more for speed and precision instead of raw, brute strength. His eyes glint and catch the light, silver-golden like an eclipse, peering out from the perfectly sculpted masculine features of his face. Those features are a vision of a masterpiece, artistically perfected in boyish youth, yet dominantly powerful in alluring presence. He wears his jet-black hair shaved close to the scalp on the sides and back while longer and pulled back in a ponytail on the top. His smooth, pale flesh is free of imperfections and contrasts the darkness of his hair and perfectly formed eyebrows.
Personality: Arahiel has a mercurial personality. For the most part he is mage seeking to grow in knowledge and power which can at times make him come off as serious or extremely focused. That focus has given him the ability to distance himself from reality when it's painful or harsh. He is clever, lively and quick. Often described as having an open mind, he is imaginative and curious with a willingness to experience and experiment.
Background: Like many in his age bracket, Arahiel has been through several milestone events and hardships. Through it all he has proven his resolve and fortitude in the face of adversity. When he was in his twenties the immortal races felt the weight of time sinking in and the immortals began to age and die. Arahiel grew up studying magic from as far back as he can remember. Always reading, exploring libraries and searching for more on the topics of evocation, abjuration, and practice of prestidigitation. Most of the time he'd slip off into the nearby forest to practice alone, to meditate and to focus his thoughts on increasing his skill. In this time of worry he turned his investigation into trying to help find the source or the cause that the immortal races began to succumb to the burdens of mortality. Being so young he wasn't taken seriously so he read, searched and toiled for any scrap of information that could help his elders while still pushing to learn and grow in his magical strength.
The Eradication War brought with it death, fear, and anger. Many friends and family were lost in the war that Arahiel joined in to fight. His place in combat started in a support role but he soon grew in rank and took on more of an offensive role. The conflict had him grow in his strength and understanding in the art as well as it teaching him more of mortality, magic and war. Migrating to the Immortal Lands brought with it a new hope and an escape from the past conflict of the Eradication War. The trip was hard and many more were lost but Arahiel fought through, helping where he could and using his magic to his ship from the storm until the elves looked through the clearing fog to look on Aarandor and to feel that weight of mortality lift. Once settled in he joined back in with the mage school and earning the rank of Senior Scholar. Now he focuses on the new lands and his place in the new world.
