The night is dark, but for the stars. Learn them well.
Description: Brown red hair is kept fairly short, but still left long enough to fall into his bright blue eyes when not pushed back from his face. There is still a youthful look about his face, despite a scar that crosses through his left brown and down beneath his eye, the reminder of some fight or encounter from the past.
Personality: Some might claim that he never takes anything seriously, that laughter comes far too easily. They'd be partially right. Laughter does come easily, and while he always looks to the brighter side of things he is not blind to the seriousness of the world. Instead he chooses to remain positive, believing that with the right attitude and fortitude, that anything could happen. When something important needs to be focused on, that seems to be one of the rare still and quiet moments, the rest of the time he seems to always be in motion, always busy.
Background: The youngest child of Elerina Sedriel and her husband Thalos Ingith, Kierat was the second surprise to their marriage from Brundir. After struggling to be blessed with Aganor, and the emotional toll it took on her, it took a while before she felt the urge to ask Brundir again. Unexpectedly, the second time was easier, and Kierat was the son Thalos deserved. Where his older brother was like their mother, he was like their father. Strong, interested in hunting and exploring, in the world around them and connected to the land in unexpected ways.
Sadly, Kierat was still very young when Thalos died during a hunt and when their mother decided to undergo the Ritual of Returning. This meant that he was also raised by his uncle, unlike his brother he never showed any affinity for potentially becoming a Flame Speaker, and was allowed his freedom to explore things. He grew up spending his nights beneath the stars, working on charting them, and developed an affinity for the teachings of Brundir. He learned the stars, and to find his way in the desert without the most visible of landmarks, striving to make a name for himself as an explorer as he grew older.
