Temper us in fire, and we grow stronger. When we suffer, we survive.
Description: Ragna stands at about 6'5" tall with long dark hair that somewhat hide his pointed ears. His eyes are heterochromatic, with the left eye being a lovely dark green and the other being brown. He has high cheekbones and a narrowed jawline, yet that doesn't seem to take anything from the fierceness of his gaze. When his physique is shown, he has a few scars, like one across his left pectoral and claw marks on his right arm. Though his musculature is strong and his body athletic, perfect for the kind of physical activity he does on a daily basis.
Personality: A word that comes to mind is intense. Ragna knows what he and his fellow Thalerith have to face on a daily basis and he treats it like the serious ordeal like it is. However, he is also kind and gentle to his friends, and is willing to do anything for those he is loyal to. He's adaptive and tends to fly by the handle a bit too much. But, nevertheless, he holds honor above all else in his life, and finds joy in the thrill of the hunt.
Background: Ragna Aynarr was born to Dastan and Siwa Aynarr just about 60 years before the events of the mortal strife. At a very young age, Ragna took to the bow and arrow remarkably quickly, using it most of his life. Taught much of the old ways, and the meaning of the hunt, before there was ever an idea of immigration to another land Ragna was raised through the same harsh reality that all Thalerith face: Survival. Their harsh deserts brought upon many trials, such as searching for water and foraging for food.
As Ragna grew older, he embarked on his first hunt. A hunt that he succeeded on, and brought home his kill. This action identified Ragna as a hunter through and through to his people to which he earned his Hunter's Sense.
A skill that would aid him greatly in the future.
But then? The Eradication War, in which all the races of existence faced annihilation by the enemy: The Host. While still young, but old enough to fight, Ragna joined his brothers and sisters in arms against this terrible foe. He fought like hell, but...when the elves were faced with the decision to stay or leave, Ragna begrudgingly left with his people to cross the great seas to reach their new home.
Years later, Ragna serves as a hunter and warrior for his people and though he has a long road left ahead of him, he will walk it with his head held high.
Rise to the Challenge.
