Purple soothe, stars shine so bright
Description: Ara is of average height with shoulder-length auburn hair which drapes around her slender neck in waves. Her light brown eyes are warm and welcoming to everyone she meets as she travels. She has a smooth confidence about her and a smile appears easily upon her full lips. Ara's stance is very unthreatening. Many would describe her as very easy to talk to when they need help. She has a thin diagonal scar across her left eyebrow. Ara tends to don a lavender colored honey badger fur cloak which tends to conceal her sturdy yet hourglass frame.
Personality: Ara has a very warm presence. She is friendly but shy at first. People are drawn to her especially the ones that are in need of help because there is something about her presence that is very soothing, comforting, and welcoming even without her particularly intending for it to come across that way. Ara never seems to mind to take her time to talk with those who seem in need of her company.
Background: Ara and her two older brothers, Erendir and Tykalos, were born to Lyra, a caring and dutiful mother who put her children above all else. Their father, long since passed, was a great influence in their lives. He personally tutored the children himself, providing them with knowledge regarding their kinship's history, arts, and culture. The new continent was certainly a time for adaptation, but along the way, their father was lost at sea, perhaps having perished. Lyra took it upon herself to do exactly what her husband had done. She cherished her children, and her children, in turn, loved her dearly.
Erendir and Tykalos were caring brothers to Ara, but they had long since moved on to their chosen professions. Ara was left alone with her mother, and still young and filled with wanderlust, she often walked through the forest hills alone. Though the details of the story are not one she speaks about openly, Ara was set upon by masked mages who used their nefarious magics to mark her, leaving a scar across her eyebrow. The encounter left a lasting impression on her, mentally and physically. It motivated her to become stronger and lend a helping hand to those in need. She felt alone and scared then, but she decided thereafter that she never would let anyone else feel that way if she could intervene.
