Why stand by and watch suffering, when you can do something to stop it?
Description: Thalassa is a woman who is only beginning her trek down adulthood. She is a sheltered young woman, who always has a smile on her face. Her skin is freckled gently from a lot of time spent studying in the sunlight, and her grey eyes seem to know more than she says. Her hair, a strawberry blonde in color, sweeps down her back in waves. Her hair is most often tied in ornate braids, rarely left to blow freely through the wind.
Personality: She is a very starry-eyed girl. Her mouth is almost always upturned in a smile, and she rarely has a bad word to say of anyone else. She is extremely naive, believing everyone to have kindness in their hearts--somewhere. She will go out of her way to help anyone, even if there is no gain for her in doing so.
Background: Born during The Third Migration, her parents had settled in the first settlement of Duindar elves. So, growing up, Thalassa remembers the flood, very well. She remembers how her mother scooped her up and moved with the rest of the Duindar elves to the Isaslspire.
Her mother, after losing her father in the floods, never found love with another. Instead Thalassa was whisked away to the outskirts of Isalspire. She grew up heavily sheltered, even from members of her own extended family. Childhood consisted of reading, an studying, a lot of both, but never any real exploration on her part. She practiced with her magic, and as she grew older and closer to coming of age, her mother began to let her out into the world, primarily to further her need for knowledge, and her thirst to learn more about magic.
Now, as she has just hit the age of fifty-two, Thalassa looks to further focus her magic on healing and restoration. To bring life where it may be lacking.
