Priestess Hrefna Ingith
The woods are lovely, dark and deep. But I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep...
Description: Sharp, blue eyes peer out from beneath brows that are frequently furrowed in thought. Her features are sharp, save for the fullness of her lips, her skin a fair ivory. Ashen blonde hair, nearly grey in color, is kept long. Numerous braids weave throughout it, beads and charms worn within. Her ears are pierced, lobes and helix alike, and a row of leather necklaces worn about her throat end in obsidian raven charms. Of average height, her build is wry - more for speed than brute strength.
Personality: While Hrefna is not an overly warm woman to those she's unfamiliar with, that doesn't mean she's cold. There is a quiet intensity to her, a sharp edge of watchfulness that likely is due to her work with animals, the habit of seeking out cues from vocalizations and body language alike. Outwardly reserved, but a priestess of Gala, there is a wildness within her.
Background: Hrefna was born the daughter of a priest of Garwen, and raised with an expectation of holding to the values of purity. And while she does, it was never Garwen's path that fully called to her. Out in the wilds, watching the creatures and experiencing the freedom of nature, that is where she felt most at home.
Hrefna was still young, when the Mortal Strife came. And when the Host descended, she found herself losing her mother, and many friends, in the battles. She dedicated herself to Gala, then, vowing to live her life to the fullest in memory of those lost.
It was in the new world that she has started to fully shape herself - a priestess of Gala, a trainer of beasts, and an adventurous healer eager to learn more of her new home. Even if it's all done from behind the mask of stoicism.
