The coward believes he will live forever | if he holds back in the battle, | but in old age he shall have no peace | though spears have spared his limbs.
Description: Standing at a rather average height, this lean-built male is of a pale complexion which, when taken with his platinum blond hair and icy blue eyes, lends him a washed out look. As if all his colors have begun to fade. His hair is long, but well-groomed, falling in straight curtains down about his shoulder blades.
Personality: Hrafn is known amongst those mages and swordsmen who trained him as a daring and reckless youth, prone to the occasional bouts of melancholy. At the same time, he is not one for idle conversation -- Diligent in his studies and preferring to remain focused on a task, he is rarely known for participation in revelry. For Hrafn, word is law. Keeping one's promises and oaths are paramount. Yet, paradoxically, so too is his freedom, and the freedom of others, to do as they please. As such, promises are not given lightly or often. Lastly, he is austere in his mode of dress. However, like many Faenor, he appreciates elegance and beauty. His appreciation of such things is simply more subdued than might be expected.
Background: Nobody of any real importance before the Larandor alliance was broken, Hrafn spent his youth training at the feet of swordsmen and much of his adulthood as an apprentice to mages and abjurationists in Khelwen, the Crystalline Peak. Now with the Faenor fully rooted in Aarandor, Hrafn intends to use both blade and magic to his advantage while exploring the unknown wilds of this new land. With his faithful wolf, Ulmer, at his side, he hopes to make a name for himself hunting grander things than even most of his kinship might dare.
